Delete Your Account
You can delete your KlarVPN account and the data attached to it at any time, from inside the app or by email. This page explains both routes, what is removed, and what we keep for a short time afterwards.

1. Delete From the App
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. You are signed out on every device. The steps are the same on Android and iOS.
- Open KlarVPN and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Type your email address to confirm, then tap Permanently Delete Account.
2. Delete by Email
If you no longer have the app installed, email support@klarvpn.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We check that the request comes from the account email, delete the account, and confirm by reply.
3. Cancel Your Subscription First
KlarVPN cannot cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription on your behalf, so the app will not delete an account while a Gold or Platinum subscription is still set to renew. Cancel it first under Subscriptions in Google Play or in your Apple ID settings, then come back and delete the account. The Free plan needs no cancellation.
4. What Is Deleted
- Your private tunnel and its keys are destroyed on every server.
- Every signed in session and device token is revoked.
- Your email address and password are removed from the account record, which is marked deleted.
- Your customer record at our subscription partner is deleted.
- The usage counter shown in your transparency dashboard is no longer linked to any email address.
5. What We Keep, and for How Long
Nothing that is kept can be used to sign in or to identify what you did online. You can create a new account with the same email address later, but nothing from the deleted account comes back.
